Congrats to Best of the Beat Nominees!

Congrats to all UNO Music students, faculty, and alumni nominated for the 2014 Best of the Beat awards sponsored by Offbeat Magazine, New Orleans’ monthly music magazine.  The awards ceremony will be held January 18 at Generations Hall, and will include a tribute to Lifetime Achievement Award winner and UNO jazz patriarch Ellis Marsalis.  Pictured here is alumnus Gregory Agid, nominated for Best Clarinetist.
